Once completed, the piece is carefully prepared for travel, often requiring custom crates or trollies, padded supports and tie-downs to prevent damage.

Upon arrival at the onsite location, coordination with venue access points, lift capacities, and crew schedules ensures smooth installation.

If the piece is touring, it must be designed for repeated pack-downs and reassemblies, with clear labelling and durable components that withstand handling across multiple venues.
