As part of Ballarat's annual Begonia Festival, FORM Imagination were asked by the city of Ballart to create a larger-than-life swan lantern and luminescent garden.
Standing at just over 6m tall, "Swannie" towered above his illuminated habitat that came complete with motion-sensor light up board walk, sound scape and glowing lilies. At night this colourful and magical world of blooms and animals lit up Sturt Street, inviting guests to walk through and immerse themselves in a world of light.

In addition, we were tasked with constructing a canvas in the form of blank B-E-G-O-N-I-A letters that local artists painted and decoupaged in begonia inspired blooms.
These letters are re-used each year for the festival and feature different artists, themes and mediums to reflect the diversity, inclusivity and artistic talents of the city and the region.
