Behind the scenes of The Book of Mormon Australia, a quiet transformation took place—one that demanded hundreds of hours, expert hands, and a shared vision for theatrical excellence.

We were proud to lead the refurbishment of the show’s iconic set and drapes, with the remake of the Galaxy Cloth as the centrepiece. Measuring 14 metres high by 18 metres wide, this drape is more than fabric—it's a dimensional canvas of light and colour. Crafted by specialists in scenic art and textile fabrication, the design was entirely freehand painted using custom blends of dyes and inks. Each layer was meticulously sprayed to build depth, movement, and cosmic texture. Integrated LED lighting adding the final flourish—bringing the galaxy to life with subtle shifts and shimmering detail.

This project exemplifies what happens when technical mastery meets creative ambition. We’re excited to take on more projects like this - breathing life back into old sets and building new scenic elements from scratch.
